International Tour Fundraising Group

Belridge Secondary College has a highly competitive specialist cricket program available for selected students.  Through out the year the students enter many competitions and play regular fixtures against other specialist cricket program schools as well as private schools.  The Program is aimed at developing high level athletes, giving students an opportunity to excel in a competitive environment in the sport they are passionate about. We have had many successes including winning the WACA’s premier schools competition in 2014 and runners up in 2015

Each year, students across all year groups in the program go on various cricket tours.  Our year 10 group regularly participating in the Southern Skies Tournament held in Queensland, Australia.  In 2012 we had our first International tour to England, it was an amazing trip, that afforded the group a chance to play against some of the top private schools in the UK as well as partaking in the wonderful tourism/culture that England had to offer. In 2014 we went to India and experienced some of the best cricket facilities/games and opportunities that were on offer as well as visit an AIDS orphanage and donating gifts and playing/interacting with these underprivileged children.

In July 2016 our year 11 and 12 cricket students will travel to the UK again for our International tour.  It will be another highly valuable experience in their cricket/educational lives and one not to be missed.  These tours however can come at a significant cost to families.  The cost of this tour will be $5,400 per student which will include tour uniforms, games against prestigious cricketing teams and a cricket experience not to be missed.  

To help reduce the cost to these families and ease the financial pressures of the tour we ask that any support that you or your company can provide will be greatly appreciated.  The cricket academy will formally acknowledge any support that your company can provide in aiding this group in attending this fantastic opportunity.
